Here is an overview of Martha Brown's Technology Education program. 6th, 7th and 8th grade

6th grade students in 6th grade take introduction to technology for 20 weeks. They design and produce a variety of projects. Click on the  button for the 6th grade section.

7th grade students take 7th grade technology for 10 weeks. The 7th grade program focuses learning traditional drafting practices and then the students use their skills leaned in 6th grade to produce an individually designed clock. Click on the  for more details on 7th grade tech.

8th grade students take technology for 10 weeks. The 8th grade program focuses on the design and production of a co2 race car. It also has a main focus on 3D computer drafting along with animation design. Click on the  to view the 8th grade project/information page.

8th grade Single Gender Technology

This year we are teaching a pilot technology program jsut for girls. It is a 2 year pilot at both middle schools, Minerva Deland and open classes at the high school next year.
